Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Ellis Bogle account either inside the Android app or by emailing a request. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request.

Delete in the app

Open Ellis Bogle and go to Settings.
Under Privacy & Account, choose Delete account.
Review the warning and confirm deletion.

This is the quickest route and securely identifies the account through your active device session.

Request deletion by email

Email from the Google address you used to sign in to Ellis Bogle. Use the subject Ellis Bogle account deletion. I will reply if further verification is needed before deletion.

Never email your Google password, Trading 212 password, API key or API secret.

What is deleted

Your Ellis Bogle account and Google identity mapping.
All device sessions, notification registrations and preferences.
Portfolio positions, settings, targets, rationales, performance history and canonical events.
Generated narrative and narrative memory.
The encrypted Trading 212 API credentials held for Ellis Bogle.

Deletion does not close or alter your Google account or Trading 212 account. Operational logs that do not intentionally contain credentials or portfolio payloads expire after 14 days.
